Job Summary: We need a New Product Development Engineer for our team in Pune. You will focus on solving problems and managing programs to develop BIW or chassis parts, from Business Award to Start of Production, and work with our three plants in Pune. You will report to senior management. If you have experience in automotive product development, apply now. Key Responsibilities: Manage programs to meet project timelines, budgets, and part quality Use knowledge of stamping and welding processes & tooling to problem solve effectively. Follow APQP system diligently Work with engineering, production, and quality teams across three plants in Pune for smooth product launches. Work with suppliers and OEMs when needed. Prepare project reports and updates for senior management. Handle SAP entries for material and production tracking (preferred). Qualifications and Experience: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field. 4+ years of experience development of Sheet metal parts Strong problem solving and program management skills. Knowledge of stamping and welding processes. Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, and GD&T. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a very fast paced environment. Preferred Skills: Basic Metallurgy Knowledge of SAP data entry. Experience with CAD software (e.g., CATIA, UG). Familiarity with automotive standards like IATF 16949.
