CONTRACT POSTION - 6 MONTHS Roles & Responsibilities (Piping)-Modelling & Drafting Minimum 2-3 years of pipe modelling experience. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in P&ID preparation. Should be proficient in AutoCAD 2D & 3D- Drafting & Modelling Must know the purpose of various pipe fittings (Valves, Strainers, instruments, etc…) Software preference would be AutoCAD Plant 3D / Ship Constructor. Must have good knowledge of P&ID Preparation and can understand. Production drawing extraction (Isometric spools and Arrangement drawing) – AutoCAD Plant 3D, Shipbuilding Standard. Basic knowledge of piping codes and standard ASME/DIN/JIS. Navisworks is an added advantage. Job Title: Project Engineer – Marine Industry (0–3 Years Experience) Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Project Engineer with up to 3 years of experience in the marine industry to support the planning, coordination, and execution of shipbuilding, ship repair, or retrofit projects. The ideal candidate will assist senior engineers and project managers in delivering marine engineering solutions on time, within budget, and to required standards. Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing day-to-day technical activities across ship repair, maintenance, and retrofit projects. Coordinate with internal teams, shipyards, vendors, and classification societies to ensure smooth project execution. Support project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring. Participate in onboard inspections, surveys, and reporting. Prepare technical documentation, method statements, and project reports. Monitor compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Assist in procurement planning by reviewing equipment specifications and vendor documentation. Provide technical assistance during installation, commissioning, and sea trials. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in marine engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 3 years of relevant experience in marine operations, shipyards, or offshore projects. Familiarity with marine systems, equipment, and regulations (IMO, Class rules). Strong communication and organizational skills. Willingness to travel, including onboard ship visits and shipyard presence. Preferred Qualifications: Internship or hands-on experience in ship repair or construction. Exposure to dry-docking or retrofit projects. Knowledge of safety and risk assessment procedures.
