About The Role As an Operations Associate - Payments, you will be instrumental in ensuring smooth and efficient card payments for our customers. You’ll be responsible for various transaction-related tasks and work closely with multiple teams to address questions and resolve issues. What You'll Do Gain a comprehensive understanding of all transaction-related processes and communicate them effectively to the teams you collaborate with Act as the primary point of contact for transaction-related inquiries, supporting both customers and internal teams (Customer Success, Customer Experience & Tech), investigating discrepancies, and resolving transaction failures Collaborate with our partners to identify and resolve transaction-related issues, working closely with internal teams to ensure timely resolution Handle customer disputes related to unauthorised or incorrect transactions, investigating the root cause and coordinating with internal teams or partners for resolution Troubleshoot complex transaction issues, independently solving problems while knowing when to escalate matters Document transaction-related knowledge gained from handling issues, contributing to continuous improvement What We Are Looking For 1 to 3 years of progressive experience, preferably in a startup environment or big-four consulting, with a bonus for those with an existing understanding of transaction concepts and a background in fintech or payments Bachelor’s degree in business administration, STEM or a related field Owner mentality and hands-on approach, demonstrating a willingness to cover various tasks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
