Core Responsibilities & Accountabilities Social Media Strategy : Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the firm's business objectives. This includes identifying target audiences, selecting appropriate platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram), and defining key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success. Content Creation & Curation : Create and manage a content calendar, producing engaging and informative content. This content can include market insights, expert commentary, educational resources, firm news, and employee spotlights. The content must be tailored to each platform's specific style and audience. Community Management : Actively monitor and engage with the online community. This involves responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner. It also includes moderating discussions and ensuring all interactions adhere to brand guidelines and regulatory compliance. Regulatory Compliance : This is a critical and unique aspect of the role in the financial industry. The social media manager must ensure all content and communication comply with strict regulations from bodies like the SEBI) or AMFI. This includes avoiding making promises of specific returns, using disclaimers, and adhering to strict guidelines on testimonials and endorsements. Performance Analysis : Track, analyze, and report on social media metrics and performance. Use analytics tools to understand what content resonates with the audience, measure engagement rates, and report on the effectiveness of campaigns to key stakeholders. Brand Management : Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and visual identity across all social media platforms. Collaboration : Work closely with other departments, such as Marketing, HR, and Operations, to ensure a cohesive and compliant online presence. Required Skills & Qualifications Experience : 3-5 years of experience as a social media manager, preferably within the financial services or a similarly regulated industry. Experience with B2C social media is often a plus. Industry Knowledge: A strong understanding of the wealth management and financial services industry, including an awareness of market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory requirements. Communication Skills : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. The ability to craft clear, concise, and professional content that is both engaging and compliant. Strong copywriting skills are essential. Analytical Skills : Proficiency in using social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Sprout Social, Hootsuite) to interpret data and make data-driven decisions. Creativity & Adaptability: A creative mindset for developing engaging content and a willingness to stay updated on the latest social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms. Attention to Detai l: Meticulous attention to detail is non-negotiable, especially when it comes to compliance and brand consistency. Project Management : The ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently.
