Key Responsibilities: Microgreens Cultivation & Management: Plan, set up, and manage indoor and/or greenhouse microgreens production Handle seeding, germination, harvesting, and post-harvest handling Maintain precise climate, light, and irrigation conditions for optimal growth Implement pest and disease control using organic or sustainable practices Farm Operations: Monitor production schedules and manage supply planning Maintain hygiene standards and ensure food-safe practices Maintain detailed records of crop cycles, yields, and resource usage Manage inventory of seeds, trays, grow media, and tools Team Management: Supervise junior farmhands and laborers Train team members on SOPs and best practices Coordinate with product and packaging teams for supply timelines Innovation & R&D: Research and recommend new microgreen varieties based on market trends Experiment with new growing techniques or substrates Test and trial high-nutrition or specialty crops (e.g., edible flowers, herbs) Quality Control: Ensure consistent yield, taste, color, and freshness Identify and troubleshoot problems in the growing process Requirements: Bachelors degree in Horticulture, Agriculture, or Botany Prior hands-on experience with hydroponics, microgreens, or organic farming preferred Understanding of climate control systems, grow lights, and irrigation Knowledge of plant nutrition, soil-less media, and organic treatments Comfortable with tech tools for logging data and managing inventory Physically fit, with an eye for detail and commitment to quality Strong organizational and communication skills Bonus Skills (Good to Have): Experience in vertical farming or hydroponic systems Awareness of FSSAI hygiene & quality protocols Exposure to value-added product development using greens What We Offer: Opportunity to build and lead a modern, premium farm setup Scope to experiment and innovate with microgreen varieties Work with a passionate team building health-forward, gourmet vegan products Competitive compensation and growth pathway To Apply: Email your resume and a short note about your passion for growing food to: akirasmicrogreens@gmail.com
