About the role: You’ll support day-to-day quality checks and product testing for LED luminaires, drivers, and assemblies, ensuring products meet safety, performance, and customer standards. Key responsibilities- Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections per QC plans and sampling standards (AQL). Conduct electrical & photometric tests: continuity, insulation/Hi-Pot, earth-bond, power factor, THD, lumen output, CCT/CRI, lux/illuminance, thermal, and burn-in/aging. Verify mechanical dimensions & workmanship Maintain inspection records, test reports, and calibration logs; ensure traceability. Support line audits (5S, ESD, safety), first-article approvals, and supplier quality feedback. Collaborate with Production/R&D on sample builds, rework verification, and process improvements. Skills & qualifications- Diploma/B.E. in Electrical/Electronics or related field. Basic understanding of LED lighting components (drivers, optics, heat sinks, PCBs). Hands-on with tools/meters: multimeter, clamp meter, lux meter/integrating sphere, calipers, Hi-Pot tester. Familiarity with ISO 9001, AQL sampling, and basic SPC; MS Excel/Google Sheets for reports. Detail-oriented, good documentation, and willingness to work shifts when needed. Nice to haveExposure to IEC/IS lighting standards (e.g., IEC 60598, IEC 61347, IEC 62471).
