Interior & Technical Design Lead
You will be joining Akar Design Builds, a multidisciplinary design and build firm with a focus on commercial and residential interiors, civil works, furniture, and MEP solutions. Your role as an Interior & Technical Design Lead will involve translating client visions into clear, executable design concepts that are visually stunning, structurally feasible, and budget-conscious. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with clients to understand their vision and needs, developing design concepts and visualizations, ensuring alignment with civil, furniture, and MEP requirements, preparing detailed drawings and documentation, and working closely with project teams for smooth execution. You will also be involved in sourcing materials, preparing BOQs, and participating in site visits to monitor design compliance and quality. To be successful in this role, you should have a degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in interior design, including exposure to civil and MEP works. Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max (or similar), and rendering software is required, along with a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and detailing. Excellent communication, presentation skills, problem-solving abilities, and attention to detail are essential.
