Purpose of the Job (Brief) The incumbent will support & Drive Airtel Africa HQ in Home Broadband (FTTH) deployment governance and MIS management across all operating countries of Airtel Africa . This role will ensure structured rollout End to End tracking, timely reporting, and standardized deployment practices for FTTH( OLT, ODF, FAT, splitters, ROW, fiber build). Deliverables (Maximum 5-6 key responsibilities) Track and monitor FTTH End to End rollout progress (OLT, ODF, FAT, splitters, ROW , fiber build) across Op-Cos. Maintain and update MIS dashboards, trackers, and reports on FTTH deployment status, risks, and variances. Highlight delays, bottlenecks, and propose corrective actions. Governance & MIS: - Standardize reporting dashboards and MIS for FTTH across Op-Cos. - Track deployment KPIs (Orders Received vs. Deployed, cost per home/building passed). Cross-Functional Coordination: Standardize and enforce deployment checklists, acceptance templates, and governance processes Vendor & Partner Management: Engage with OEMs, civil contractors, and technology partners to ensure quality and timely delivery.Identify and resolve deployment bottlenecks, Risk & Issue Management: Proactively highlight risks to rollout timelines and recommend mitigation plans. Demonstrate (Key competencies) End to End Understanding of FTTH rollout elements (ODN, OLT, FAT, splitters, fiber build). Strong knowledge of FTTH architecture, including in-building cabling, ROW and customer activation. Familiarity with network acceptance, QoS, and performance monitoring. Proficiency in Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros), PowerPoint, and MIS tools. Ability to drive cross-country teams, and manage vendor relationships. Hands-on experience in project tracking, dashboard preparation, and reporting. Educational Level: Diploma / B.Tech in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related field.. Working Experience: 5+ years’ industry experience in FTTB & Fiber Rollout . Preferably Telecom experience in large Telecom organization.
