Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Data Scientist role located in Pune. The Junior Data Scientist will be responsible for analyzing data, developing data-driven models, and creating actionable insights to support business decision-making. Responsibilities include data preprocessing, building predictive and statistical models, performing data visualizations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify key insights. Knowledge about hardware optimisation and parallel processing is a must. Candidates will also work on ensuring data accuracy and presenting findings to stakeholders effectively. Qualifications Proficiency in Data Science, including familiarity with machine learning algorithms and frameworks Strong foundation in Statistics and Data Analytics for deriving meaningful insights Hands-on experience in Data Analysis and Data Visualization techniques and tools Understanding of GPU, CPU optimisation, parallel processing, CUDA frameworks is a must Primarily knows how to work on linux flavours Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills Good communication and teamwork abilities Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field Experience with programming languages like Python, R, or SQL Knowledge of cloud-based data tools and platforms is a plus
