We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Intern to support ASME India's membership operations, particularly focusing on student section development and professional members outreach. This role involves maintaining a database of colleges, conducting campaigns, supporting event logistics, and actively promoting ASME membership across India. Key Responsibilities: 1. College Outreach & Data Management: Collect and maintain updated information of new and existing colleges for membership outreach. Ensure accurate record-keeping in the membership database and tracker systems. 2. Student Sections Campaign: Support in Student Sections campaign for colleges across India. Track the establishment and status of student sections and update campaign trackers accordingly. 3. Member Database management, Engagement & Feedback: Assist the membership team in connecting with existing ASME members (both active and inactive) to gather feedback. Support to update and manage membership data through Salesforce and internal database system. 4. Event Support & Representation: Travel to and support in-person ASME events (minimum 1-2 in a quarter), including MEEd, EFx, and other membership programs. Set up and manage ASME membership booths at events to promote benefits and recruit new members. 5. Support in ongoing membership operations as per requirements 6. Preferences Experience using CRM or membership databases Passion for promoting STEM education and professional development Familiarity with engineering student bodies or technical societies. Key Qualifications Bachelors degree (Engineering or non-engineering) 0–2 years of experience in educational community engagement, academic outreach, or membership-based organizations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and data management abilities Willingness to travel domestically for event support and outreach Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
