AI/ML Intern

You will be joining a fast-growing logistics technology startup that is focused on building a next-generation Trucking Management System (TMS) encompassing dispatching, accounting, routing, fleet tracking, and maintenance all in one platform. The company is currently enhancing its offerings by incorporating AI-driven features like OCR for document automation, predictive analytics, and driver efficiency insights. As an AI/ML Intern, your main responsibilities will include: - Assisting in building and training OCR models to extract data from logistics documents like invoices, trip sheets, and bills of lading. - Working on data preprocessing, cleaning, and feature engineering for logistics datasets. - Contributing to the development of predictive models for driver performance, route optimization, and dispatcher efficiency. - Collaborating with the product and tech team to integrate AI modules into the TMS. - Researching and experimenting with AI/ML frameworks to enhance model accuracy and efficiency. - Documenting processes, experiments, and results for knowledge sharing. To qualify for this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in B.Tech / M.Tech / MCA or a related field in Computer Science, Data Science, or AI/ML. - Strong understanding of Python and relevant libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, pandas, OpenCV, or similar. - Basic knowledge of OCR tools such as Tesseract, EasyOCR, etc. would be advantageous. - Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and APIs. - Strong problem-solving skills and a keen willingness to learn. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
