Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and innovative AI/ML Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of hands-on experience in machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, and AI system design. This role requires expertise in building and deploying ML models, with additional experience in generative AI techniques including the use of large language models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG). You will play a key role in developing AI-powered applications and solutions that combine traditional ML with state-of-the-art generative AI technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for classification, regression, NLP, and computer vision tasks.
• Build and maintain pipelines for data preprocessing, feature engineering, model training, and evaluation.
• Research, experiment with, and integrate generative AI techniques using LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Mistral).
• Develop RAG-based applications using frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex.
• Develop and deploy computer vision models for object detection, image classification, segmentation, and OCR.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.
• Optimize models for performance, scalability, and low-latency inference in production environments.
• Apply prompt engineering and fine-tuning techniques to improve LLM outputs.
• Implement safety guardrails to reduce hallucinations and ensure output reliability in generative applications.
• Use embeddings and vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Qdrant) for semantic search and document retrieval.
• Document technical workflows and maintain model versioning and reproducibility.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing AI/ML models in production environments.
• Strong Python programming skills with proficiency in ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Hugging Face.
• Solid understanding of classical ML algorithms, computer vision techniques, and modern NLP methods.
• Hands-on experience with generative AI technologies including LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
• Experience working with cloud-based AI/ML platforms (e.g., AWS Sagemaker, Amazon Bedrock, Azure ML, or GCP Vertex AI).
• Familiarity with MLOps practices, model monitoring, and version control.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot production issues.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in agile teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with deploying containerized AI services using Docker or Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with vector search engines and hybrid retrieval techniques.
• Understanding of AI governance, ethical considerations, and fairness in ML.
• Experience in continuous training pipelines, hyperparameter tuning, and model explainability.
