AI/ML Engineer

As an AI/ML Engineer specializing in open-source Large Language Models (LLMs) for the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and deploy LLMs that enhance customer interaction, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create innovative AI solutions for the BFSI sector. Your key responsibilities will include developing and implementing open-source LLMs tailored for BFSI applications, working with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to define use cases and deliver high-quality solutions, conducting experiments and optimizing models using real-world datasets, monitoring LLM performance in production environments, and refining models based on feedback and usage data. You will also be responsible for ensuring adherence to security, compliance, and scalability standards, staying updated with AI/ML advancements, contributing to best practices, and documenting models, workflows, and methodologies in detail. To qualify for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, along with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on AI/ML development experience, preferably in the BFSI industry. You must have a proven track record of building and deploying AI/ML solutions to production, strong programming skills in Python or Java, proficiency in open-source ML frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch, industry experience with open-source LLM ecosystems, and a solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, data structures, and statistical methods. Additionally, experience in data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation, along with strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills are essential for this role. The interview process for this position will consist of a Technical Interview conducted by a Senior AI Engineer, followed by a Technical/Product Interview conducted by a Senior Product & Tech Lead.
