Job Summary AIG Healthcare is seeking an experienced ASC Internal Coder to join our in-house medical coding team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) coding guidelines, CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding with a focus on accuracy and compliance. Remote Opporunity possible for South Indian Candidates Key Responsibilities Perform accurate coding of ASC (Ambulatory Surgery Center) charts based on operative reports and documentation. Review patient medical records and assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes. Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, payer-specific policies, and internal quality standards. Work closely with the QA and Billing team to resolve coding-related queries. Meet daily and monthly productivity and accuracy benchmarks. Stay updated with changes in coding guidelines, payer rules, and ASC-specific regulations. Required Qualifications & Skills Education: Graduate in Life Sciences / Healthcare / Medical background preferred. Experience: 2-3 years of ASC coding experience. Certifications: CPC / COC / CCS or equivalent (preferred). Strong understanding of ASC coding, CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS.
