Role Overview: The Legal and Compliance Officer will be responsible for managing regulatory compliance, corporate legal matters, contract drafting, and secretarial compliance. This role ensures adherence to SEBI AIF regulations, oversees legal due diligence, and manages investor documentation while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: 1.Ensure compliance with SEBI AIF regulations and corporate legal frameworks. 2.Manage AIF registrations, investor onboarding, due diligence, and compliance reporting. 3.Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements, including shareholder, employment, NDA, loan, and investment agreements. 4.Oversee secretarial compliances, corporate governance filings, and statutory documentation. 5.Handle intellectual property matters, including trademark registrations and renewals. 6.Facilitate licensing and certifications such as MSME, IEC, and FSSAI. 7.Maintain investor records, regulatory filings, and compliance reports. 8.Stay updated with regulatory amendments and ensure timely implementation. Educational Qualification: CS + LLB/LLM Experience: 4-6 years in legal, compliance, and corporate governance roles. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of SEBI AIF regulations, corporate law, and compliance frameworks. Expertise in contract drafting, MCA compliance, and intellectual property laws. Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, problem-solving, stakeholder coordination, and attention to detail. A strong understanding of M&A laws and regulations is highly desirable.
