JOB DESCRIPTION

Aid Coordinator

About the role:

As an Aid Coordinator, you will work as part of a hospital team to provide nutritional support to children with cancer.

The Aid Coordinator will be a crucial link between the pediatric oncology nutritionists and the beneficiaries, ensuring a seamless, empathetic, and efficient healthcare delivery model.

Responsibilities

Aid Management

  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of aid at the warehouse, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Maintain the safety, hygiene, and security of all items stored in the warehouse.
  • Monitor the quality and expiry of stored items regularly to prevent spoilage or wastage.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory received and dispatched using physical registers.

Vendor Management

  • Identify and onboard new vendors, ensuring all required documentation is submitted as per procurement protocols.
  • Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services.
  • Collect vendor invoices and facilitate timely submission to the Head Office for processing.

Ration Distribution

  • Distribute ration kits from the warehouse to beneficiaries in accordance with the nutritionist's specifications.
  • Ensure all items in the ration basket match the purchase order (PO) and meet required quality standards.

Logistics and Coordination

  • Collaborate closely with nutritionists to ensure timely delivery of nutritional supplements, in-meals, and other items to the hospital as needed.
  • Serve as the primary liaison for logistics support between the warehouse, vendors, and hospital teams.

Must Haves

  • Graduate
  • Good verbal communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills and ability to use mobile apps and google docs.
  • Sensitivity to the needs and concerns of children with cancer and their families.
  • Should know the local language along with Hindi / English
  • Personal qualities of integrity and credibility

Job Types: Permanent, Part-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹28,000.00 per month
