Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect AI Solutions:

  Design and oversee the implementation of AI solutions utilizing open-source LLMs, including smaller models such as Llama, Mistral, Phi, and DeepSeek, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.

• Lead AI Development:

  Guide the development team in building and fine-tuning AI models, developing Python scripts, and creating Streamlit applications.

• Strategic Planning:

  Develop AI strategies aligned with business objectives, identifying opportunities to leverage AI for competitive advantage.

• Technical Leadership:

  Provide mentorship to team members, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices in AI development.

• Collaborate with Stakeholders:

  Work closely with business leaders, product managers, and other stakeholders to define AI project requirements and deliverables.

• Stay Updated on AI Trends:

  Continuously monitor advancements in AI, LLMs, and related technologies to drive innovation within the organization.

• Partial EST Availability:

  Be available to work partially during U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours to facilitate collaboration with the team.

Requirements:

• Educational Background:

  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

• Experience:

  7+ years in Data science, with at least 3 years in a leadership or architectural role.

• Technical Proficiency:

  Expertise in Python scripting and AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch. Hands-on experience in full stack development in the past.

• LLM Expertise:

  Extensive experience with open-source LLMs, particularly smaller models like Llama, Mistral, Phi, and DeepSeek, including model fine-tuning and customization.

• Streamlit Skills:

  Proficiency in developing interactive web applications using Streamlit.

• Leadership Abilities:

  Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams, manage projects, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Strategic Thinking:

  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to align AI initiatives with business goals.

• Communication Skills:

  Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of articulating complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Time Zone Flexibility:

  Ability to work partially during U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours to ensure effective collaboration with the team.
