As a Sourcing and Procurement Analytics Manager at Accenture, your role involves leading data-driven initiatives to optimize procurement and supply chain operations. You will need a strong understanding of statistical methods, analytical techniques, and data science applications to derive meaningful insights. Your responsibilities will include client engagement, providing technical guidance, and leading a team of analysts to tackle complex procurement and supply chain challenges using advanced analytics. **Roles and Responsibilities:** - Be an expert in sourcing and procurement operations domain and possess strong Data Science skills. - Architect, design, build, deploy, deliver, and monitor advanced analytics models for sourcing and procurement analytics. - Engage with clients to understand business problems and translate them into analytics problems for actionable insights and operational improvements. - Implement advanced analytics for spend analytics, category analytics, contract analytics, supplier management analytics, price forecasting, and supply risk analytics. - Collaborate with internal teams at Accenture to drive sales and innovation in key capability areas related to supply chain planning and development of assets & accelerators. - Use statistical models, machine learning, simulation, and optimization techniques to enhance procurement and supply chain operations. - Evaluate supplier performance, optimize procurement costs, and mitigate supply chain risks using analytics. **Team Leadership & Development:** - Mentor and guide a team of analysts and consultants in developing analytical solutions. - Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team. - Ensure knowledge sharing and best practices across projects. **Technology and Process Optimization:** - Lead digital transformation in procurement by utilizing AI, machine learning, and cloud-based analytics solutions. - Utilize SQL and advanced analytics tools for data preparation, manipulation, and descriptive analysis. - Collaborate with IT and procurement teams to enhance data integration and system automation. **Experience and Education:** - Require a minimum of 7-9 years of experience in industrial/consulting or related areas with at least 5 years of supply chain advanced analytics solutions design and delivery experience. - Preferably hold a Masters degree in Technology, Engineering, or a quantitative field (e.g., MSc in Statistics and Operations Research, M.Tech in Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science). - Certifications in Python, AI/ML, Simulation, Optimization, or any of the Cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, AWS) will be advantageous. **Technical & Professional Skills:** - Drive analytics-driven procurement transformation projects effectively. - Possess a deep understanding of advanced analytics solutions and hands-on experience in building models using machine learning, deep learning, and Gen AI models. - Experience with cloud-based solutions (Azure, GCP, AWS) for procurement analytics. - Proficient in programming with analytics tools, databases, and visualization platforms like Python, PySpark, SQL, Bigdata tools, PowerBI, and Tableau. - Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage with senior stakeholders effectively. In addition to the above, you should be proficient in data visualization tools like Tableau/Power BI and have experience with procurement tools such as Ariba, Coupa, Zycus, or Ivalua. Prior experience in client-facing roles and managing large-scale procurement analytics initiatives will be beneficial in this role.
