AI engineer

Role Overview

Seeking a highly skilled AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy advanced AI and Generative AI (Gen AI) solutions within the healthcare technology domain. This role involves building intelligent systems, optimizing model performance, and integrating AI capabilities into existing infrastructures to enhance clinical outcomes and operational efficiency, while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• AI/Gen AI Model Development

• Design and train models in machine learning, deep learning, time series forecasting, multimodal LLMs, NLP, and computer vision
• Fine-tune large language models using techniques such as LoRA, PEFT, and RLHF
• Build Gen AI applications using Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture
• Develop intelligent agents using LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or OpenAI Swarm
• Work with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate) and graph databases (e.g., Neo4j, TigerGraph)

• End-to-End Deployment

• Deploy AI solutions in cloud and on-prem environments with a focus on scalability and reliability
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for ML and LLM workflows using ML Ops and LLM Ops best practices
• Apply security measures and guardrails in Gen AI systems to ensure safe and ethical usage

• Data Engineering & Compliance

• Handle large healthcare datasets with advanced preprocessing and feature engineering
• Ensure data privacy and compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and other regulatory standards

• System Integration & APIs

• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless model interaction
• Collaborate with software engineering teams to embed AI capabilities into existing platforms

• Front-End Development

• Build interactive dashboards using Streamlit
• Bonus: Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js for enhanced user interfaces

Required Qualifications

• Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or related field
• 4+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering with real-world deployment experience
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Gen AI frameworks
• Experience with LLMs such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, or open-source equivalents
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) and databases (SQL, NoSQL)
• Ability to translate complex business challenges into AI-driven solutions
• Knowledge of healthcare AI applications and regulatory compliance is a plus
