As a Computer Vision Engineer at Avathon, you will be part of a team revolutionizing industrial AI with a powerful platform that integrates and contextualizes siloed datasets, providing a 360-degree operational view to enhance decision-making and efficiency. Your role involves designing, developing, and implementing advanced computer vision algorithms and systems that enable machines to interpret and understand visual information from the industrial world. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and implement advanced computer vision algorithms and systems - Address hard, novel challenges in product development - Bring machine learning expertise to develop cutting-edge solutions - Conduct research to solve practical problems and communicate effectively with research colleagues and customers - Engage with internal product developers, external customers, and subject matter experts to understand and solve critical technical challenges - Research the latest advancements in computer vision and machine learning, prototype new ideas, and deploy scalable solutions into production environments - Develop and optimize computer vision models, integrate vision systems into real-time applications, evaluate model performance, conduct error analysis, and continuously improve the accuracy and efficiency of vision systems - Propose new projects or initiatives that yield business benefits and evaluate project plans and proposals **Qualifications Required:** - Minimum of 2 years of experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field focusing on computer vision or machine learning - Strong programming skills in C++ and Python, experience in Deep Learning algorithms and GPU programming - Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure highly desirable - Experience in YOLO object detection algorithm or similar Convolutional Neural Network algorithms preferred - Strong written and verbal communication skills to translate complex technical topics to stakeholders - Prior experience in cutting-edge technologies with real-world impact across industries like autonomous vehicles, healthcare, robotics, and augmented reality is a plus If you are passionate about computer vision and want to be part of a dynamic and innovative team, we encourage you to apply.
