Key Responsibilities

The role requires good data visualization development experience and the candidate must have strong ability to:
  • Translating business requirements into technical solutions, optimizing performance, establishing best practices, ensuring data security, and guiding a team of developers
  • Work both as a good team player and an individual contributor throughout design, development and delivery phases and stay with the focus of quality deliverable.
  • Working with the clients directly to understand the requirement and provide inputs to build the optimum solutions
  • Provide support in organization-level initiatives & operational activities
  • Ensure continual knowledge management and take part in all internal L&D team's trainings

Qualifications:

  • BE/BTech/MCA with 10-12 years industry experience

Technical skills requirement:

Must have:

  • Architecting end-to-end, scalable, and robust solutions using Power BI and related Microsoft Fabric services
  • Designing and building performant semantic models using DAX, Import/DirectQuery modes, and other optimization techniques.
  • Connecting and integrating data from various sources like SQL databases, flat files, and cloud platforms.
  • Designing and implementing data transformation processes using tools like Power Query to prepare data for analysis
  • Implementing data governance frameworks, data quality standards, and security protocols, including RBAC (Role-Based Access Control)
  • Defining the long-term BI strategy and roadmap to align with business goals. Assessing the current BI state and creating detailed architectural documentation.
  • Acting as the subject matter expert, providing technical leadership, and helping other developers with modelling challenges.
  • Strong basic understanding and hands experience on SQL; Relational database experience such as Oracle, SQL Server or Teradata.
  • Work with individual responsibility on analytical projects/requests, drafting new SQL queries
  • Excellent aptitude for learning business, data, GUI tools, and analysis techniques
  • Ability to interpret and present data in a manner to communicate findings and insights

Good to have:

  • Good understanding of Data Management concepts and Data Strategy
  • Knowledge about data concepts such as Data Warehouses, Data Marts, data extraction and preparation processes and Data Modelling
  • Understanding of the importance of Data governance and Data security
  • Experience on Wealth and Asset Management domain
  • Expertise in MS Fabric components
