You will be joining our agriculture division as a dedicated and knowledgeable Fertilizer Sales Executive / Field Officer. Your main responsibility will be to promote and sell fertilizers to farmers, dealers, and distributors while also providing technical support and agronomic advice. Your key responsibilities will include promoting and selling fertilizers to farmers, retailers, and distributors, conducting field visits to demonstrate the benefits of fertilizers, identifying and developing new markets, and increasing sales volumes. You will also need to build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, agri-dealers, and local distributors, provide agronomic support and solutions related to soil health, crop nutrition, and best farming practices, conduct farmer meetings, field demonstrations, and training programs, monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, prepare sales reports, ensure timely product delivery, and manage inventory levels at dealer points. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture / Agronomy / Agri-Business / Science, along with 1-3 years of experience in agricultural input sales, preferably in fertilizers, seeds, or pesticides. You should possess a strong knowledge of soil health, plant nutrition, and crop patterns, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently in rural and semi-urban regions, willingness to travel extensively within assigned territories, and proficiency in the local language and basic computer skills.
