Business Development Manager (BDM) – Fertilizers / Pesticides / Agro-Chemicals 🔹 Key Responsibilities Identify and onboard new dealers, distributors, and retailers in assigned regions. Promote and sell company’s fertilizers, pesticides, crop nutrients, and agro-chemical products. Build strong relationships with farmers, distributors, agri-consultants, and channel partners. Conduct farmer meetings, product demos, field trials, and awareness programs. Meet government agriculture departments, Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVK), Block/District Agri Offices, Horticulture Dept., ATMA, NABARD, etc. for approvals, schemes, and collaborations. Prepare and submit business proposals, product presentations, scheme-based proposals, tender documents, and follow up for approvals. Participate in government tenders and ensure compliance with guidelines. Achieve monthly/quarterly sales and business development targets. Monitor competitor pricing, schemes, and market activities. Ensure product availability, manage orders, and follow up for payments/collections. Provide market insights, field reports, and MIS to management regularly.
