As an Associate Consultant at Infosys, you will be responsible for various key tasks and deliverables in the field of requirement gathering and documentation within the Insurance domain. With a minimum of 4 years of experience, you will be based in either Hyderabad or Pune, operating in a regular work environment. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting requirement gathering and documentation activities such as Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), gap analysis documents, and user stories. Additionally, you will provide support for functional and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinate with offshore/onshore teams, conduct demos, manage issue logs, and handle production queries. Your role will also involve participation in solution design and post-implementation activities, requiring strong communication and stakeholder management skills. To excel in this role, you must possess core competencies such as proficiency in business process modeling and documentation, in-depth knowledge of the Insurance domain including Life, Health, P&C, and Auto segments, understanding of distribution channels and commission models, as well as regulatory awareness pertaining to IRDAI and HIPAA guidelines. Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, basic SQL skills for select/join queries, and proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word are essential. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a degree in BE/B.Tech/MBA/M.Tech with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience. In addition to technical qualifications, soft skills such as team management, client relationship building, multitasking, and the ability to work independently are highly valued.
