About RizzFitt RizzFitt, wholly owned by AGG Technology Pvt. Ltd., is a fast-growing sports-tech platform powering live scoring, tournament management and player engagement across racquet sports like badminton and pickleball. The platform is actively used in tournaments and by sports communities and we are expanding rapidly with upcoming AI-driven features to enhance the player and organizer experience. Role Overview We are seeking a Backend Developer with expertise in NestJS, Node.js and PostgreSQL to design, build and scale our backend systems. You will work on critical modules like tournament fixtures, live scoring, user engagement and payments, ensuring performance, reliability and security. This role requires strong logical thinking, database design expertise and hands-on problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using NestJS / Node.js. Own end-to-end feature delivery — from schema design, API development and testing to deployment. Optimize PostgreSQL queries, indexes and database structure for high-performance applications. Ensure API reliability and security (authentication, authorization, rate limiting). Debug and resolve issues quickly in production environments. Collaborate with frontend, product and QA teams to deliver seamless features. Participate in architecture and design discussions for scalability. Review code, enforce best practices and mentor junior developers (if applicable). Required Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of professional backend development experience. Strong hands-on expertise in NestJS and Node.js. Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL (schema design, joins, query optimization). Strong logical reasoning, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines and agile workflows. Familiarity with authentication protocols (JWT, OAuth2, sessions). Understanding of scalable architectures and cloud deployment practices. Nice to Have Experience with GraphQL. Knowledge of Redis, Kafka/RabbitMQ, or WebSockets for real-time apps. Familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure). Exposure to sports-tech, gaming or live scoring systems. Basic DevOps knowledge (monitoring, logging, alerting). AI/ML Integration Skills: Experience working with LLM APIs (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic) or deploying ML models. Familiarity with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, pgvector). Understanding of recommendation engines, NLP or search optimization. Knowledge of LangChain / LlamaIndex or building RAG-based systems.
