Job Profile: Business Development Manager (BDM) Company: Affluence IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd. With a proven track record of 30x business growth in the last three years, we are expanding our presence across government and enterprise sectors. Position Overview The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, managing government and private sector proposals, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of IT solutions, tender/RFP processes, and institutional sales, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Growth & Lead Generation Identify and pursue new business opportunities in IT, skill development, and manpower outsourcing sectors. Develop and maintain strategic relationships with government departments, PSUs, OEMs (HP, Dell, Acer, etc.), and corporate clients. Explore partnership opportunities with OEMs, system integrators, and training partners. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new growth areas. 2. Tender / RFP Management Track government tenders, EOI, RFPs through e-procurement portals. Coordinate with internal teams for documentation, proposal drafting, and bid submission. Ensure compliance with tender requirements including EMD, technical bids, and financial bids. Liaise with tendering authorities for clarifications and post-bid discussions. 3. Client Relationship & Account Management Build long-term relationships with existing clients and ensure customer satisfaction. Conduct regular client meetings and presentations to showcase company capabilities. Handle negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract closures. 4. Strategic Planning & Execution Prepare business plans, sales forecasts, and performance reports. Assist management in developing go-to-market strategies and partnership models. Coordinate with technical and operations teams for successful project delivery. 5. OEM & Vendor Coordination Register and maintain partnerships with leading OEMs like HP, Dell, Lenovo, Acer, and software vendors. Prepare documentation and ensure compliance for empanelment and renewals. Manage vendor relations and pricing agreements to support project proposals. Key Skills & Competencies Strong understanding of IT Infrastructure, Software Solutions, and E-Governance projects. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and E-Procurement portals. Knowledge of Government Tendering Process (GeM, CPPP, MP e-tendering, etc.). Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on result-oriented growth. Educational Qualification Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, IT, or related field. Preferred: MBA in Marketing / IT or equivalent. Experience Minimum 3–6 years of experience in Business Development / Sales / Tendering (preferably in IT, Skill Development, or E-Governance domains). Performance Metrics (KPIs) Number of new clients and partnerships established. Tender/RFP participation and win ratio. Revenue generation and target achievement.
