Job Description Position: Purchase Manager Location: Bhopal, India (Coordination with UAE/Saudi distributors) 🎯 Role ObjectiveTo manage end-to-end procurement of raw materials, packaging, and finished goods in India, ensure timely production, and coordinate with export logistics partners for smooth delivery of shipments to Gulf and other international markets. 🛠️ Key Responsibilities1. Raw Material & Packaging Procurement (India)Source herbal extracts, powders, capsules, oils, excipients, and packaging material only from approved Indian vendors. Negotiate prices, ensure timely supply, and secure long-term contracts with suppliers. Maintain inventory of critical raw materials to avoid production delays. 2. Production CoordinationLiaise with manufacturing partners (contract manufacturers if any) to ensure timely production as per distributor orders. Ensure Arabic + English compliant packaging is printed and ready as per UAE/Saudi regulations. 3. Export & Logistics ManagementPrepare all export-related documentation: COA, Halal Certificate, Free Sale Certificate, Packing List, Invoice, etc. Coordinate with freight forwarders (sea & air cargo) to dispatch shipments on time. Track export consignments till delivery in UAE/Saudi warehouses. 4. Regulatory & ComplianceEnsure all purchased raw materials meet GMP, FSSAI, AYUSH standards (India). Support export compliance for SFDA (Saudi) and Dubai Municipality (UAE) registrations. Maintain documentation for customs clearance and audits. 5. Cost Control & ReportingOptimize procurement cost by identifying best vendors in India. Maintain monthly purchase and export reports (orders, shipments, delays, savings). Propose strategies to reduce logistics costs (bulk shipments, container optimization). 📌 Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of FMCG/Nutraceutical raw material sourcing in India. Hands-on experience in export documentation & customs clearance. Vendor negotiation and cost-control expertise. Familiar with international shipping (air, sea) and Incoterms. Excellent coordination between India factory and UAE/Saudi distributors. Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP, and export documentation software. 🎓 Qualifications & ExperienceMBA / PG Diploma in Supply Chain, International Business, or Export-Import Management. Minimum 5 experience in Purchase + Export Management (preferably FMCG / Herbal / Pharma). Knowledge of Indian suppliers + Gulf export process is mandatory.
