Job Title Medical Representative – Ahmedabad Region Location-Ahmedabad, Gujarat About the Company - We are a fast-growing speciality pharmaceutical company with more than 150 products range, focusing on women’s health/metabolic disorders/ortho/general range). Role Summary- are seeking a dynamic, motivated Medical Representative to promote our products within the Ahmedabad territory. The role involves building relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), driving product awareness and prescriptions, achieving sales targets, and providing market feedback to the head office. Key Responsibilities - Regularly visit doctors, clinics, hospitals, and pharmacies in the assigned territory to present and promote the company’s products. Explain product - features, indications, usage, dosage, mechanism of action, benefits, and any possible contraindications or side-effects in a clear and credible way. Maintain and build strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), doctors, pharmacists, and other HCPs to ensure loyalty and repeat prescriptions. Achieve (and ideally exceed) monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs set by management. Indeed+1 Manage your territory effectively - planning daily/weekly/monthly call schedule, tracking visits, optimizing time and travel. Provide regular feedback and market intelligence - competitor activities, product availability, stock‐outs, doctor perceptions, customer feedback. Ensure - samples, promotional literature, and visual aids are effectively used and maintained; ensure coordination with distributors and stockists to maintain product availability. Maintain accurate and timely reports of calls, new leads, sales achieved, and any issues faced. Biocell Pharma Attend trainings, workshops and team meetings as required; continuously update your knowledge of the product, therapy area, and competitive landscape. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, ethical standards for pharmaceutical promotion. Required Qualifications -Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc, B.Pharm, Life Sciences) or equivalent. Good understanding of the local healthcare ecosystem in Ahmedabad/Gujarat. Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the assigned territory. Proficiency in Gujarati and Hindi (and English) preferred for local interactions. Desired Skills & Attributes -Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain medical/technical information in simple, persuasive form. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; confident in engaging with doctors and pharmacists. Sales orientation with good negotiation and persuasion skills; resilient and able to handle objections. Good time-management, planning and organisational abilities; ability to manage travel, schedules and multiple priorities. Quick learner, able to stay updated about therapy areas, product developments and market changes. Ethical mindset, integrity and commitment to compliance in pharmaceutical promotion.
