  A successful database developer -Professional at Fiserv do database design, optimizes database performance, and mentors junior developers, demonstrating deep expertise in SQL, PL/SQL, and database design principles.

  What will you do:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize PL/SQL code for efficient database operations.
• Design and implement database solutions to support business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex database issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Optimize database performance through query optimization and indexing strategies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.

What would be great to have:

Powerbuilder KnowledgeOracle certification (e.g., Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate).Experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.Knowledge of other programming languages such as Shell Scripting, Java, Python/Perl, or C/C++.Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.Expertise in version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD (Github actions, Harness etc)

What will you need to have:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.5 years of hands-on experience in SQL and PL/SQL development.Proficiency in Oracle database technologies.Strong understanding of database design principles and normalization.Work on security scans and pipelines for code deployment.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Effective communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
