Advanced Engineer - C++ Middleware

Role Overview: As an Engineer at HARMAN Automotive, you will engineer audio systems and integrated technology platforms to enhance the driving experience. You will combine ingenuity, in-depth research, and collaboration to advance in-vehicle infotainment, safety, efficiency, and enjoyment. Key Responsibilities: - Implement platform software for Middleware and infrastructure - Contribute to design and Architecture - Perform customer requirement analysis - Assist in onboarding new technical recruits - Independently own and execute core Middleware and infrastructure modules - Learn and adapt to new technologies with an innovative mindset towards problem-solving Qualifications Required: - B-Tech/BE with 6-8 years of experience in embedded software - 3+ years of experience in Automotive and IVI systems - Expertise in C++, C++11, Design Patterns, and Android Framework - 3+ years of Android FW experience - Knowledge of Android HAL AOSP architecture, Sepolicy, config, and board config files - Proficient in debugging skills using GDB, JTAG, etc - Exposure to JAVA is an added advantage - Ability to read/understand hardware block diagrams and schematics - Experience with embedded application firmware development Additional Company Details: HARMAN is committed to fostering a supportive culture where every employee feels welcomed, valued, and empowered.
