Advanced Engineer - Android Middleware

You will combine ingenuity, in-depth research, and a spirit of collaboration with design and engineering excellence to advance in-vehicle infotainment, safety, efficiency, and enjoyment. **Key Responsibilities:** - Implement the platform software for Middleware and infrastructure - Contribute to design and Architecture - Conduct customer requirement analysis - Assist in onboarding new technical recruits - Independently own and execute core Middleware and infrastructure modules - Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning new technologies - Apply an innovative mindset towards problem-solving **Qualifications Required:** - B-Tech/BE with 6-8 years of experience in embedded software - 3+ years of experience in Automotive and IVI systems - Expertise in C++, C++11 with a strong grasp of Design Patterns and android Framework - 3+ years of Android FW experience required - Familiarity with Android HAL AOSP architecture - Proficient in debugging using GDB, JTAG, etc. - Exposure to JAVA is an added advantage - Ability to read and understand hardware block diagrams and schematics - Experience with embedded application firmware development - Capable of working independently, contributing to requirements reviews, and analyzing customer change requests HARMAN is committed to fostering a welcoming, inclusive, and empowering environment for all employees.
