Role Description Job Title: HR Employee Relations Specialist Department: Human Resources Reports To: HR Manager or Director of Employee Relations Location: [Tiruchirapalli] Position Summary: The HR Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for fostering a positive work environment by managing employee relations, resolving workplace conflicts, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. This role acts as a trusted advisor to employees and management on employee relations issues and supports a fair, respectful, and productive workplace. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a point of contact for employee relations concerns, complaints, and conflicts. Investigate and resolve employee issues related to workplace behavior, performance, harassment, discrimination, or policy violations. Advise managers and employees on HR policies, practices, and employment laws. Partner with legal, compliance, and HR teams on sensitive employee matters. Assist in developing and delivering employee relations training to managers. Maintain accurate records of employee relations cases, investigations, and outcomes. Analyze employee relations trends and metrics to recommend proactive solutions. Support performance management and disciplinary processes in alignment with company policies. Promote a culture of accountability, equity, and respectful communication. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. + years of experience in employee relations or HR generalist roles. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Experience conducting workplace investigations preferred. HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus. Preferred Skills: Bilingual proficiency (if applicable) Experience with HRIS and case management systems Strong analytical and documentation skills Knowing extract language will be an added advantage
