The QC Electrical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing electrical engineering tasks, including electrical controls, electrical design, and troubleshooting. The engineer will also design control systems and ensure that all electrical work is performed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in electrical and electronic systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and experience in inspection and quality assurance processes within the marine/shipbuilding industry. Key Responsibilities: Thoroughly read and interpret internal wiring diagrams, ship layout drawings, cable schedules, and main cable runs . Understand and apply relevant specifications and standards required for installation of electrical/electronic systems. Demonstrate a working knowledge of ISO quality systems (production, quality control, and quality assurance) and maintain inspection records in computer-based QA data management systems. Record inspections in prescribed formats, maintain protocols, and recommend modifications when required. Conduct in-house inspections within 48 hours of production requisitions, ensuring job readiness before offering to inspection authorities. Coordinate and participate in joint inspections with authorities, generating inspection reports within 72 hours. In urgent cases, complete inspections and submit reports immediately upon completion. Manage and execute various inspections across disciplines (indicative, not exhaustive). Qualifications Full time Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering from recognized institute /university with past shipbuilding experience in QA / outfitting / production works in established shipyard for minimum 02 years is mandatory. • Knowledge of computer applications / software such as MS Office, MS Excel etc. 📍 Location: GOA 💼 Experience: 2 years
