Roles and Responsibilities: Project Execution: Oversee and manage day-to-day execution of HVAC/MEP works at the project site. Ensure installation is as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and project timeline. Coordinate with site supervisors, technicians, and subcontractors to execute work effectively. Planning & Scheduling: Assist in project planning, activity sequencing, and setting execution priorities. Track progress and ensure milestones are met as per the project schedule. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly work plans. Site Coordination: Coordinate with consultants, architects, and other service teams (electrical, plumbing, civil). Attend site meetings and resolve interface or coordination issues. Resource Management: Monitor manpower deployment and productivity. Coordinate material delivery, usage, and storage on-site. Ensure availability of tools, equipment, and materials for smooth execution. Quality Assurance: Ensure work is done as per quality standards and codes (e.g., ISHRAE, ASHRAE, SMACNA). Conduct quality checks and inspection of work in progress and completed work. Raise RFIs and get approvals for executed work. Health & Safety: Implement safety standards and ensure compliance with HSE guidelines. Conduct toolbox talks and promote a safe working environment. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare daily and weekly progress reports. Maintain project documentation, material tracking, and site records. Assist in preparation of client bills and work measurement (RA bills). Client & Consultant Interaction: Coordinate with client representatives and consultants for approvals and inspections. Address queries, clarify drawings, and ensure client satisfaction during execution. Support for Testing & Commissioning: Participate in final installation checks, testing, and commissioning of systems. Prepare as-built drawings and handover documentation. Educational Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in HVAC/MEP project execution. Hands-on experience in site supervision, installation, and coordination of HVAC systems (ducting, piping, insulation, etc.). Experience with commercial, industrial, or residential projects is preferred. Technical Skills: Good understanding of HVAC system components (AHUs, FCUs, VRFs, chillers, etc.). Ability to read and interpret HVAC and MEP drawings (AutoCAD / Revit). Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (ASHRAE, ISHRAE, SMACNA). Basic knowledge of MS Project / Primavera and MS Excel for planning and reporting. Key Attributes: Strong leadership and team coordination skills. Problem-solving ability and site decision-making. Good communication and client-handling skills. Flexible to work at project sites and willing to travel if required. Other Preferences: Candidates with experience in fast-track or design-build projects will be preferred. Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods are a plus. Exposure to green building or energy-efficient systems is desirable.

Job Summary: The HVAC Design Engineer is responsible for the planning, design, and development of HVAC systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects. This includes load calculations, equipment selection, ducting and piping layout, and preparation of detailed design drawings and documents, in compliance with relevant codes and standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform heat load calculations using software (e.g., HAP, Trace 700, Carrier E20, etc.). Design HVAC systems including ductwork, chilled water piping, VRF systems, and ventilation. Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and layout plans in AutoCAD or Revit. Select appropriate HVAC equipment (AHUs, FCUs, Chillers, VRF Units, Pumps, etc.). Coordinate with architects, structural and electrical teams to integrate HVAC systems into the building design. Prepare BOQ, specifications, and technical submittals. Ensure designs meet applicable codes such as ASHRAE, ISHRAE, SMACNA, and local building regulations. Support estimation team with design data and assist in cost estimation and tender documentation. Review and approve shop drawings and assist in site queries during project execution. Participate in design review meetings and client discussions.
