Job Description

Role Overview: As an ADAS HIL Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for testing and validating Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in a simulated environment using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems. You will work closely with software developers, systems engineers, and vehicle integration teams to ensure that ADAS functionalities are robust, safe, and meet expectations. Key Responsibilities: - Understand HIL environments and configure them according to project requirements for ADAS functionalities. - Develop test cases and scripts to validate features such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Parking Assistance in a HIL environment. - Perform system validation and verification for ADAS algorithms by simulating real-world driving scenarios in a controlled environment. - Troubleshoot and debug hardware and software issues during HIL testing. - Create automated test scripts using frameworks like dSPACE, ControlDesk, and CarMaker for efficient and repeatable ADAS testing. - Collect and analyze test data to generate comprehensive reports, providing feedback to development teams for enhancing ADAS performance and safety. Qualifications Required: - Hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. - Hands-on experience with HIL test platforms such as dSPACE, ControlDesk, and CarMaker. - Strong knowledge of automotive communication protocols like CAN, LIN, and Ethernet. - Experience in developing automation test sequences using ControlDesk environments. - Familiarity with ADAS sensors (radar, camera, lidar) and their integration in HIL setups is a plus. - Proficiency in version control tools like Git, requirement management tools like DOORS, and test management tools like Jira and Jenkins. - Skilled in using tools such as CANalyzer, CANoe, or similar for debugging and communication analysis. - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail in identifying root causes of issues, and clear communication with cross-functional teams are key attributes for success in this role.,
