Purpose : The Mine Planning Executive Open Cast is responsible for supporting the development and execution of effective mine plans to optimize resource extraction and operational efficiency. This role involves preparing detailed mine designs, schedules, and budgets for open cast mining projects. The executive will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business goals, regulatory compliance, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities : Design and plan open-pit mines, including pit shells, phases, and haul roads. Develop short-term and long-term production schedules to meet targets. Optimize pit limits and phases using specialized software. Plan drilling and blasting operations for safe and efficient rock breakage. Coordinate with geology and survey teams for accurate data and block models. Ensure slope stability and safety through geotechnical collaboration. Monitor and adjust plans based on actual production and field conditions. Prepare technical reports and compliance documents for regulatory bodies. Support cost estimation and budgeting for mining operations. Implement and manage mine planning software tools for digital planning. Qualifications : B.Tech in Mining Engineering.
