The IT Support Engineer L1 will be responsible for managing day-to-day IT operations, end-user support, and intermediate-level IT infrastructure tasks. This includes device troubleshooting, classroom technology support, network/firewall assistance, application support, and security tools. Key Responsibilities: 1. End-User & Classroom Support: • Provide support for desktops, laptops, iPads, and printers • Maintain interactive panels, projectors, and AV equipment. • Troubleshoot connectivity issues, login problems, and email setup. • Provide on-site support during school events and functions. 2. Infrastructure & Applications: • Assist with servers, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Group Policies. • Administer Google Workspace (Gmail, Classroom, Drive, Groups) and Microsoft 365 (Teams, Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive). • Provide support for ERP/SIS/LMS applications. • Perform backup operations and restore testing. 3. Network & Security: • Troubleshoot internet/Wi-Fi/LAN issues at first and second level. • Assist in configuring firewalls, switches, and wireless systems. • Monitor and support endpoint protection tools (AV/EDR e.g., CrowdStrike) 4. Helpdesk & Documentation: • Respond to IT tickets, resolve or escalate to L2 when needed. • Maintain logs of incidents, issues, and asset inventory. • Support IT inventory audits and passive networking checks (cabling, patching, labeling). Other: • Support during events/programs. • Perform additional IT-related tasks as required by management
