About the Role As a Senior Sales Leader, you will play a dual role with primary focus on sales and key account management as well. We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sales Leader to spearhead our sales efforts and drive significant revenue growth within the Global market with focus on APAC region. This pivotal role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing sales teams, developing new business, and fostering strong client relationships in the IT services sector. Key Responsibilities Sales Strategy & Leadership: Develop and execute a robust sales strategy to achieve revenue targets for IT services and SaaS products. Lead, mentor, and scale the sales team to maximize performance and customer acquisition. Drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure. Achieve and exceed aggressive sales targets and KPIs. Collaborate with marketing, product, and delivery teams to align sales efforts with business goals. Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team. Provide strong leadership, guidance, and coaching to ensure individual and team success. Foster a collaborative and performance-driven sales culture. Business Development & Account Management: Actively pursue new business opportunities and expand market share. Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, decision-makers, and partners. Understand client needs and effectively position our IT services and solutions. Drive end-to-end sales cycles, from prospecting to closure, including RFPs, negotiations, and contracts. Collaborate with delivery teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction. Revenue Growth & Market Expansion: Achieve and exceed quarterly/annual sales targets for IT services and SaaS solutions. Expand market presence in India and globally (if applicable) through strategic partnerships and alliances. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales approaches. Customer Success & Retention: Ensure high customer satisfaction by working closely with delivery teams for seamless onboarding and adoption. Upsell/cross-sell solutions to existing clients to drive account growth. Market Intelligence & Reporting: Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and insights to senior management. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, presales, solution architects, and delivery teams to create compelling proposals and solutions. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions. Skills & Qualifications 12+ years of experience in IT sales, with a focus on IT services (consulting, outsourcing, cloud, etc.) and SaaS products. Proven track record of meeting/exceeding multi-million-dollar revenue targets. Strong network and experience selling to enterprises (India & global markets). Deep understanding of digital transformation, cloud technologies, AI/ML, or other relevant IT domains. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Leadership experience with the ability to inspire and grow sales teams. Bachelors/Masters degree in Business, IT, or related field (preferred). Proven ability to manage and grow high-value client relationships. Strong understanding of software solutions and their application in business environments. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Proven experience in all aspects of HR, including talent acquisition, employee development, compensation & benefits, and employee relations. Strong knowledge of labour laws and regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
