Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Packaging Development Engineer located in Mumbai. The Packaging Development Engineer will focus on designing and engineering packaging solutions, conducting research and development (R&D), and collaborating on projects from inception to execution. Day-to-day tasks include evaluating packaging materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards, managing projects, and contributing to the development of innovative packaging designs. The role will require an analytical approach to optimize functionality, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness of packaging solutions. Qualifications Expertise in Packaging Engineering and Packaging Design Strong Research and Development (R&D) skills to create innovative and functional solutions Analytical Skills to evaluate packaging materials and optimize designs Proficiency in Project Management to oversee and execute packaging-related projects Good communication and teamwork skills Ability to stay current with industry developments and sustainability practices Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field
