Job Summary: Assistant Manager -Event Sales:- Individual will plays a pivotal role in the success of any event-focused business. Individual will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale of event spaces, sponsorships, event tickets, Signage spaces, third activation activities at park and related services. This dynamic role requires a blend of sales acumen, event industry knowledge, strong communication skills, and a customer-centric approach. The Event Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by proactively identifying, pursuing, and securing new event business, as well as maintaining and growing existing client relationships. This role involves selling various event offerings, including venue space, signage/hoarding/advertisement space, sponsorships, Event Tickets and other event-related amenities. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in event sales, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of the event industry. KRA Actively prospect for new event leads through various channels (e.g., cold calling, networking, industry events, community participation, online research, referrals). Call, meet corporates to sell spaces/venue (Activation and advertisement) at our creative parks. Qualify leads and assess client needs to propose appropriate spaces. Sell sponsorships, spaces, and exhibit stalls for planned events at our creative parks. Actively engage with local communities, groups such as runner, sports enthusiast, social clubs, kitty groups and encourage them to host their gatherings and events at our parks. Actively engage and develop alliance and collaborations with other event companies/agencies to host their B2B and B2C events. Develop alliance and collaborations with other event companies/agencies to conceptualize new B2C events for local communities and visitors at our park. Develop and network of exhibitors, food vendors, food court operators to participate in various events at park Develop a network of local artist, performer and event services providers to organise variety of events in our parks. Develop a network of event services provides such as ad media printers, advertisers, social media and decorators. Create and develop communities around the theme and activities available at parks. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients. Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to maximize revenue and profitability. Close sales and achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services. Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients and actively manage the sales funnel. • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, understanding their ongoing event needs. Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the sales process and initial planning stages. Ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly and professionally. Encourage repeat business and solicit referrals from satisfied clients. • Event Planning & Coordination: Collaborate closely with the other departments and team to ensure seamless execution of planned events. Provide detailed client requirements and event specifications to the operations team. Conduct site visits and tours for prospective clients, showcasing the venue's capabilities. Stay informed about current event trends, industry best practices, and competitor offerings. • Marketing & Promotion: Contribute to the development of sales and marketing strategies for events. Represent the organization at industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events. Utilize CRM software / Excel/ Google sheets to track sales activities, manage client information, and generate reports. Provide feedback to the marketing team on effective sales collateral and promotional materials. • Financial Management: Develop and manage sales budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability. Track and report on sales performance metrics. Process payments and ensure adherence to billing procedures. • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other departments, including marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure a cohesive client experience. Participate in department meetings and contribute to team goals.
