As an experienced Acoustic Engineer with 3+ years of sound tuning experience with OEM, you will be responsible for vehicle sound tuning, layout, and spec preparation of acoustic hardware for sound enhancement. Your role will involve the development of hardware and its implementation to improve acoustic performance in vehicles. You will conduct a comparative study and benchmarking of acoustic performance across multiple models. Your expertise in acoustic measurement using various equipment will be crucial in evaluating and providing both subjective and objective feedback for improvement. Working closely with business partners, you will collaborate on multiple iterations to enhance acoustic parameters for market introduction. Active participation in cross-functional teams, including Body, Trims, and NVH, will be essential to generate innovative ideas for improving acoustic performance. Additionally, your role will require you to conduct root cause analysis of acoustic market issues and implement effective resolutions. You should possess a good understanding of hardware specifications such as speakers, tweeters, amplifiers, and sub-woofers to optimize acoustic performance. Familiarity with infotainment systems, peripherals, and interfaces will be beneficial. Desired qualifications include a Golden Ear Certification or its equivalent. As an effective team player, you will stay updated on global and domestic industry trends and apply relevant insights to your work. Your communication and presentation skills will be valuable in coordinating department activities and representing the department or MSIL in forums. Specific expertise in acoustic areas with a minimum of 2+ years of experience in an OEM setting is required. A BE/B. Tech degree in ECE/EE will be essential to excel in this role.,
