As an Acoustic Development Engineer with 7-10 years of experience, you will be a part of the Product Development team focusing on Actran software development. Your role will involve: - Developing new features in Actran to meet industrial expectations for accuracy, performance, and robustness - Contributing to acoustic research topics - Providing recommendations on integrating new technologies into Actran efficiently - Collaborating with third-party software interfaces - Working on bug fixes and identifying software design problems for elegant solutions Your expertise should include: - Holding a PhD in Applied Sciences, Computer Sciences, or equivalent field - Proficiency in Python and C++ programming - Familiarity with commercial structural dynamics solvers like Nastran, Abaqus, Ansys, Optistruct - Experience in programming within a Linux environment and acoustic research - Skills in designing complex object-oriented software, particularly in C++ and Python - C++: generic programming, Standard Template Library, boost libraries - Python: C-bindings, python extension libraries, numpy, scipy, matplotlib - Knowledge of versioning systems like GIT, CI/CD development processes, and containerization tools - Experience with Qt framework and VTK library is advantageous - Basic understanding of CAE-FEM tools such as Ansa, Catia, Hypermesh is a plus Additionally, your soft skills should include being creative, self-learner autonomous, curious, capable of thinking out of the box, solution-oriented attitude, quality awareness, team spirit, flexibility, and proficiency in English. This job offers a hybrid work mode with 3 days in the office in Pune.
