Planning & scheduling for Preventive maintenance Attending to all break downs. Repairing & maintaining all electrical works in shop floor & office Recording & maintaining files for BESCOM reading day wise, furnace utilization and furnace breakdown time. Maintenance of Diesel genset / all furnaces / panel board / bogie & all other machines. Procurement of raw material / spares / subcontracting work pertaining to repair & maintenance Root cause analysis for breakdown and implementation of corrective action. Seeking sources & new vendors pertaining to repair & maintenance requirements Follow –up of all purchase / job-work given out for repair & maintenance Following instruction given by management pertaining to repair & maintenance Maintaining IMS documents and records. Carry out Hazard / Aspect analysis on a continuous basis and make efforts to mitigate them. Manage AMC outsourced for machines/equipments. Ensure that the contractors of laborers who do electrical, mechanical, civil or any other work in our premises are aware of ACN safety, Health and Environmental regulations. Follow Safe work practices. Manage 5-S Identify Aspect/Hazard Investigation of Accidents/Incidents Ensure Legal Compliance Use of PPE Identify and report Unsafe act Issue & compliance to work permit for contractors. Assessment of Hazard /Aspect for new installation/renovation. Training on maintenance and usage of machinery. Conducting periodical examination of machines from chartered engineer as per inspectorate of factories and take action, implement & sustain on chartered engineer observation. Managing Periodical inspection of electrical installation conducted by electrical inspectorate as per IE Regulation,2010 and take action, implement & sustain on their observation. Arrange periodical calibration of electrical installations as per IE regulation. Manage critical spares as per list.
