As a Service Engineer for Machine Support Operations, you will play a crucial role in managing and overseeing the support operations for an Ultrasound Scanning Acoustic Microscope machine in Sanand, Gujarat. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the optimal performance of the machine, addressing both mechanical and software technical issues, and providing exceptional customer support to enhance the overseas support team. Your focus will be on troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the machine's performance. Your key responsibilities will involve providing on-site technical support to resolve machine issues, troubleshooting and repairing hardware, software, and system integration problems, and collaborating with internal teams to address escalated technical challenges. You will also be responsible for conducting routine inspections and maintenance to minimize downtime, monitoring machine performance metrics, and implementing improvement measures. Additionally, you will supervise or directly execute machine installations and commissioning, train customers and internal teams on machine operations and safety procedures, and act as the primary point of contact for machine-related inquiries. Maintaining detailed service logs, preparing and submitting regular reports on machine performance and service activities, and developing and updating user manuals, service guides, and technical documentation will also be part of your responsibilities. You will participate in design reviews, provide feedback for machine enhancements, and stay updated on the latest technological advancements relevant to the machine. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or a related field) and a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in service engineering, technical support, or machine maintenance.
