Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications. Generate CNC programs for 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling and/or turning centers using CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidCAM, Fusion 360, Siemens NX, Hyper Mill, CATIA, etc.). Analyze engineering drawings, 3D models, and specifications to determine optimal machining strategies. Optimize existing CNC programs for efficiency, reduced cycle time, and improved surface finish. Perform program simulations and verifications to detect potential collisions and optimize tool paths. Provide technical support and training to machine operators as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve programming and machining issues in collaboration with production teams.
