Role & responsibilities

Basic Accounting Principles
Understanding of concepts like double-entry bookkeeping, accrual vs. cash accounting, and financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).

Excel Proficiency
Should know how to use formulas (SUM, IF, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and work with large datasets.

Accounting Software
Experience with
Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or SAP
is a plus.

Accounts Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR)
Understanding of invoice processing, vendor payments, and collections.

Reconciliation Skills
– Bank reconciliations, ledger reconciliations, and resolving discrepancies

Basic Taxation Knowledge
– Awareness of
GST, TDS, Income Tax.

Preferred candidate profile

Pursuing or recently completed a
degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
.

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
.

Good communication and attention to detail.

Proactive and eager to learn.
