Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Maintaining and updating accounting records.
• Assisting with audit preparation and compliance.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Conducting reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts.
• Preparing tax returns and liaising with external auditors as required.
• Ensuring accurate data entry and use of Tally accounting software for various financial processes.
• Assisting with internal and external audits, ensuring timely completion of audit tasks.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Accounts Assistant, preferably in an audit office environment.
• Proficiency in Tally accounting software (Tally ERP 9 or Tally Prime).
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience in handling audits, internal controls, and compliance.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of GST, income tax, and other statutory compliance processes.
• Ability to work with financial data and generate reports.
• Client handling

Education and Certifications:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
• Relevant certifications or training in accounting and auditing (e.g., CA Inter, ACCA, or similar).
