Key Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping and Data Entry:

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally software.

* Record daily financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.

* Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.

Taxation and Compliance:

* Assist in the calculation and filing of Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns.

* Help with the preparation of Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) statements and filings.

Payment Collection:

* Follow up with clients for timely payment collection.

* Prepare and send invoices and payment reminders.

* Maintain a record of outstanding payments and follow up as necessary.

Financial Reporting and Support:

* Assist in the preparation of financial reports as required by management.

* Support the senior accounts team with various accounting tasks.

* Handle general administrative and clerical duties related to the finance department.

Skills and Qualifications:

* Education: Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.

* Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as an Accounts Assistant or in a similar accounting role.

Technical Skills:

* Proficiency in Tally software is mandatory.

* Working knowledge of TDS and GST regulations.

* Good understanding of basic accounting principles.

Soft Skills:

* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Proactive and willing to learn.

Availability:

Immediate joiners are highly preferred.
