Job Description

As an Accounting Specialist at Roquette, your role will involve managing the accounting sub-function at the local level in Pantnagar. You will be responsible for ensuring proper accounting in adherence with accounting standards and policies, compliance with direct and indirect taxes, monitoring capital work in progress and its capitalization to fixed assets, validation of invoices, preparation of reconciliation reports, handling audit requirements, and coordinating with various departments and functions for fund disbursement. Your expertise in financial matters will contribute to decision-making processes and maximizing shareholder value. Key Responsibilities: - Ensuring proper accounting in adherence with accounting standards and policies - Compliance with direct and indirect taxes - Monitoring capital work in progress and its capitalization to fixed assets - Validation of invoices and ledger scrutiny - Preparation of reconciliation reports - Handling audit requirements for statutory and internal audits - Inter-departmental communication - Coordinating with HO and supply chain functions for fund arrangement and disbursement Qualifications Required: - MBA in Finance or CA inter - Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience - Sound knowledge of accounting standards and policies, bank reconciliation, management of suppliers, project accounting, and advanced Excel skills If you see yourself as a valuable team member with good interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a drive for quality and excellence, then join us at Roquette by applying with your resume.
