Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in accounting practices in the US/Europe. The ideal candidate should have at least two years of hands-on experience in accounting and be proficient in using QuickBooks. This role requires excellent analytical skills, knowledge of financial reporting, and the ability to manage day-to-day accounting functions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

* Process invoices, payments, and expense reports accurately and in a timely manner.

* Prepare financial statements, reports, and tax filings in compliance with US/European accounting standards.

* Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy in financial records.

* Perform month-end and year-end closing processes.

* Generate and analyze financial reports using QuickBooks.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the US/Europe.

Strong proficiency in QuickBooks (Online/Desktop).

Solid understanding of GAAP/IFRS accounting principles.

Hands-on experience with reconciliations, financial reporting, and tax filings.

Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently.

Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with teams.

Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with international clients or multi-currency transactions.

Knowledge of US tax regulations (for US-based roles) or European VAT compliance (for European roles).Role & responsibilities
